Situated in the beautiful West Coast fishing village of South Africa you will find the St Helena Bay Hotel, only 2 hours drive from Cape Town and the Cape Town International Airport. This is a home away from home with friendly staff. We offer various types of accommodation, from luxury rooms with attached bathrooms to self catering fisherman’s rustic chalets. Our
sea-view rooms have beautiful balconies where you can experience the sunrise and sunset over the same Bay (only two places in the world).

The Whale Creek Restaurant seats up to 50 guests and offers lovely views over the bay.  We offer a full A la Carte Menu (try our chef’s famous Mussel pot).  Guests can also dine on the outside veranda and enjoy the view or opt for some peace and quiet time in our private lounge area.

The Shipwreck Pub has its own unique character.  It is one of the oldest bars in the bay, as
fisherman in the past used to meet at the pub after a hard days work at sea. Enjoy an ice cold beverage amongst our lovely friendly staff.

Relax on the upper deck enjoying a cocktail and a swim in our crystal clear blue swimming pool.  Alternatively you too can visit the unspoilt white beaches and rockpools of the bay that are all within close proximity. 

The hotel also offers an air-conditioned conference room which can host up to 30 delegates, as well as a spacious function hall that can comfortably host 200 guests. The function hall has its own bar and kitchen facilities and is ideal for wedding receptions, 21st birthday parties or any other function.

While the hotel projects a relaxed atmosphere, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, kite surfing, fishing, hiking, bird watching and golf, just to name a few.
